What’s Up In My Crazy Little World

Well it was a good weekend. But it was pretty busy. So this is going to be long so I’ll make it a special post On Saturday we got our christmas tree. I know what you’re all thinking isn’t it early but really I wouldn’t get one till much later if I didnt get one last weekend. You see this friday is mom’s christmas party, Saturday she is going out with the ladies from her office and then sunday she leaves for pheonix. So then next weekend she’s gone too which brings us to the weekend before christmas. Really that is definatly too close to christmas to get a tree. So we got our tree Saturday then I went to the gym (I got like 1.5 hrs in there) then I cam home and Ryan and Liz came over for diner. Then I went to work. Which you can read all about in another blog. Then on Sunday I couldn’t sleep and was up by 10 so booo to that then I waited for Crawf to show up with the kids and take them to the Streetsville Santa Clause Parade. Which then I got to enjoy a couple hours of silence. But I remembered I needed a blazer still so I went to Larissa’s and borrowed some of her “Teacher” clothes as she calls it THANKS LARISSA!!! Then when I came home Sydney asked if she could stay over cuz she didn’t want to go home. So of course I said yes. We watched Harry Potter and then she lied in my bed and watched Lilo and Stitch. She was woken up by my stupid cell phone hiding on my bed so she came downstairs and said ‘There’s a phone on your bed’ She had to show me it. So we went to my room then she asked if I would read to her. So ofcourse I said yes and I read her a bunch of stories by Robert Munch (cuz thats all I had) but her favourite was Mortimer. Apparently her teacher reads it to her in class a lot. So when I took her home after that she fell asleep in the car and I’m not kidding it’s not even a 5 minute drive. and she fell asleep just as we were turning onto her street. I told her not to but she said ‘My eyes are sooooooo heavy’ It was adorable!!! Then I came home and got dressed and then headed downtown with Harsh and Larissa for Jesse’s birthday. Happy 2 day late birthday Jesse. That was fun because Dave super wraped his gift in beer boxes and shrink wrap so there was lots of silliness happening there. It was lotsa fun but lasted till 9:30 so when I got home at 10 I was sleepy but still had to drive to Niagara because I had to be up early and in Niagara so I figured it was easier to just sleep at Maureens. Just so you know. It wasn’t stupid Muddy (the cat) wanted to cuddle then didn’t then did then didn’t so he was up and down off the couch ALLL night so I didn’t sleep well But that was my busy busy weekend. This one also is going to be a busy busy weekend.
