Day 3

Guiness Factory Hurrah!!So we got up today and took the bus downtown. Downtown is very nice there I do enjoy it. Then we walked over the Lifey which is the riverwhcih divides North and South Dublin and for you who care South is the better part of Dublin. Then we too crossed the Hapenny bridge backto the south side and apparently people used to pay to cross this bridge to get to the south side. Then we walked up past christchurch which is a spectacular looking Chruch if I were going to church that would be one I would want to go to. Actually most of the churches there are quite nice. Then we walked up the the Guiness factory. It was actually pretty neat and my favourite part was seeing the guiness add called ‘Anticipation’ which is a commercial of this guy doing a retarded dance while he waits for a Guiness to be poured and anyone who doesn’t really pay attention a guiness tkaes 3-4 mins just to be poured. After that tour and having our Guiness at the top we walked back to the bus and by this time I was feeling a little sleepy from all the walking. Then we went to Grafton street which is like this little outdoor shopping district very nice one of my favourite parts. then caught ANOTHER bus back to Owens (better then walking). I took a nap and watched family guy while Nancy, Neasa and Liz went to get JB and Wayne and diner. Fish and chips mmmm. After diner we caught the bus for Orion but then found out it was closed so we went to Dakota which is a very very modern looking pub (I like their pubs much better not so loud) We had a few drinks there with Lorna, Sarah, Eimear, JB, Wayne, Nancy, Neasa, Liz and I then we went over to Rí Rá but Sarah couldn’t joing us because she had to work BOOO!!! So at the club we paid 6 Euro to get in and it qas quite nifty. I spent a lot of that night flirting with Geoff and then some Irish men spilt their beers all down my back and my jeans were soaked(it’s a good look I think I will do it more often). Then later I went to dance with Geoff. The club closed at 3:30 and we were mostly pretty pooped and we tried to get a cab YEAH RIGHT! So we had to hike it home wearing those super pointy 3″ heels oww… I have some lovely blisters if anyone would like to see. But Geoff kept me company on the walk and saved my life he say when he caught me when I got my foot caught in my jeans. Which he did save from a trip to the hospital because my hands were in my pockets so I was going face frst into the concrete ground OWWW!! We finally got home at 4:30 which is when we (Liz) decided we should be Ninjas I think she was drunk. So we finally got to bed at like 5:30 (poor Geoff had to golf the next day) what a late night I think I fell asleep at like 6:30 as well eep.
